BLM Technologies and CSI Partner for Printer Repair Solution

-- New approach makes equipment replacement fast, affordable --

MINNEAPOLIS, May 16, 2006 — BLM Technologies, Inc., a single source provider of technology consulting and branch automation solutions and services for the retail banking industry, announced it has formed a partnership with Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) in which BLM will provide maintenance for all receipt printers within their network. CSI provides service and software solutions in both a service bureau and in-house environment to more than 400 community banks across the nation.

"We were introduced to BLM Technologies as a candidate to service printers that are used in our teller automation product, CSI Passport® Teller," said Dave Rowan, product marketing manager for CSI. "Prior to that time, our field technicians handled all printer maintenance and it was taking far too long to get printers repaired and back in service at customer banks. We solicited the services of BLM to address this issue." CSI supports approximately 3,800 community bank teller terminals.

Rowan explained that the BLM approach uses the "spare-in-the-air" concept. "If a bank calls us before 2:00 p.m., we collect data on the printer that is in need of repair. Then, we contact BLM and BLM ships a replacement printer, if not that day, then the next day. The printer is sent with a pre-paid UPS shipping label. The bank simply unboxes the replacement and puts it into service, places the failed unit in the box they receive with the pre-paid shipping and UPS will pick it up. It's quite a good service."

Rowan noted that banking customers like the full-service approach. "They like the idea that all they have to do is make one phone call and, in a relatively short time, they will receive a replacement printer. It cuts down on the wait and it has saved us money because it has kept our field technicians from chasing down failed printers. It has definitely decreased our shipping cost."

"We are glad that through our partnership we were able to streamline processes for CSI and introduce new efficiencies that will allow them to more effectively serve their customers," said Ron Meinhardt, president of BLM Technologies. "We are committed to providing affordable, reliable and fast solutions for clients that will help them achieve their business goals."
