PERTECH RESOURCES INCORPORATED announces product line sale to BLM Technologies, Inc.
Riverton, WY. — January 07, 2005 — Pertech Resources Incorporated today announced the sale of the A523 series document printer product line to BLM Technologies, Plymouth, MN. Included in the sale are the rights to sell spare parts, repair services, and technical support for the product. Pertech will cease providing these services immediately.
According to Stephen Watkins, Vice President Sales & Marketing, "As Pertech focuses on the development and release of new products, we are pleased to have found a partner who has the capability to service the remaining marketplace for this end-of-life product."
The A523 was first introduced by NCR as the 5223 document printer. PERTECH RESOURCES acquired the product line from Axiohm TPG in its purchase of the Riverton, WY facility in December 2003. The last new A523 printers were manufactured in October of 2003.
