Designated for maximum flexibility and performance at the lowest possible cost, the 9840 sets a whole new standard for 1.5 station printers. Along with its standard MICR reader, the 9840 offers receipt and slip/validation functions, a cash drawer driver port (for one or two drawers), paper — low and positive-slip-position sensors and indicators, and multiple resident emulations. Available with or without journal rewind.

The EF4272 and EF4275 printers offer high speed (up to 264 csp) with independent feeds for validation and receipt/journal printing, multiple-part, and multiple-size document handling. EF4272 includes a take-up reel. EF4271 offers a serial/parallel interface. The EF4275 printer offers the lowest cost, and prints passbooks with vertical and horizontal stitching, along with multiple-part forms and envelopes at up to 350 characters per second. This series can emulate IBM, Olivetti, and NCR printers in most international character sets, offers a print speed of 290 lines per minute with up to 66 columns of print, and has the ability to read MICR and print checks and multiple-part forms—all in one small footprint. Prints in both draft and high-quality draft modes.
